Week of Febrary 25 - March 1

This week we are celebrating Read Across America week and Dr. Seuss' birthday with a lot of fun and fanfare. While it's fun to do some of these silly things, like silly socks days, the focus is really on a great author who changed how children's books were written and inspired a love of reading for future generations.

What book, by Dr. Seuss or any other author, is your favorite book? Why?

    MY favorite book is ONE FISH TWO FISH RED FISH BLUE FISH because I remeber when my dad read the book to me at night and I fall fast asleep.

    My favorite book is Green Egg and Ham by Dr.Seuss because there is silly stuff like 'would you it it with a mouse'.The man said's he does not like green eggs and hsm until he try it and he loves it.

    My favorite book is Hugo Cabret because even when he is alone he never gives up. I just feel that the things he does and searches for kinda give the book a realy big leason. The leason that I belive it give is,'Even if you feel lost when you are trying to find something, dont give up because god is always on your side.'

    My favorite book is The Mixed Up Files Of Mrs.Basil E. Frankweiler because it isinteresting and fun to read. The book has a lot of adventures that they do. - Jordan

    My favorite book is Green Eggs and Ham this is my favorite book because it is funny how the characters it teals how the character feel and act.

    My favorite book is The Cat And The Hat because it has a lesson about that there is fun in almost any thing and you have to be very carful when ever you do have any fun.

    My favorite book is I Did Not Want To Get Out Of Bed This Morning. Why is because I stuggle with getting out of bed every morning. It realates to me so well and it tells basicly every thing I do every morning before I get up. So if you want to know what I do in the mornings when I get up thats your book.

    My favorite book by Dr.Suess is THE LORAX. The Lorax is my favorite because it has silly animals and I love the trees they are really pretty trees. victory :) :]

    My favorite book is THE LORAX BY DR. SEUSS.The reason that I like that book is because it funny.And it teaches the reader a great lesson.

    My favorite book is Diary of a Wimpy kid Dog Days because it is about summer and a kid who is funny about going to a lot of places.

    My favorite book is The Miraculous Adventure of
    Edward Tulane. It is an amazing book about small china rabbit that loses his owner and goes on a big adventure being lost & found, & lost & found. But you'll have to read it to see where he goes.

    My favorite book is How the Grinch Stole Christmas Because it is Jesus Birthday and we would not be on this world if it wasn't for god. It is also a time for giving and sharing other people don't have the stuff we do for an example a homeless they would like food, money, and clothe's on their backs so we should be thankful for the stuff we have that they don't and never ever forget that break out who you truly are and that comes from your heart her's the saying Every One Can Make A Difference.

    My favorite book by Dr. Seuss is the Cat in The Hat. Bgecause a cat in a hat comes to these kids house and he dose all kinds of things because the kids have nothing to do. Because there mother is gone for a while and the cat messes up there house. But he cleans it before there mother gets back.

    My favorite is THE CAT IN THE HAT because I just love the cat and all the funny things he does. I also love watching the movie with my family and we all just laugh.And when i read the book I wonder if that really would have happen to me I would be kind of scared:]By Erica

    MS.HINES my favorite book is Dork Diary's Not So Popular Life 7 because she had just moved and had to go to a new school. And her grades are bad and the popular kdis are picking on her .So she joyings the talint show to get her grades Up. so she won and the populer kids did not pick on her ever aging .And her cursh asked her out.

    My favorite book is THE Sneetches because when a guy comes to fix the problem of the non-starbelly sneetches he makes a machine and then they have stars on them. Next the starbelly sneetches dont' want stars so he makes another machine so now the have no stars on them. Then they just go crazy and the guy leaves,they don't know whos who.The sneetches finally realize that just because you have a star some have stars and some don't doesn't mean that they're different
