Whe have been reading realistic fiction . We read FROM THE MIXED UP FILES OF MRS.BASIL E .FRANKWEILER and I read DIARY OF A WIMPY KID DOG DAYS for realistic fiction.The characters for THE  MIXED UP FILES OF MRS.BASIL E .FRANKWEILER are Cladia,Jamie,Mrs Basil E .Frankweiler.For Diary of a wimpy kid they are greg heffely,rodrick,Manny,Mom,Dad,Rowley. well, Im going  to tell you about Jamie and Manny . Jamie plays cards and likes to cheat.Manny gets anything he wants he gets free money .Jamie ran away, but manny did not. They both have a lot of money.They have bigger brothers.

Claudia has stuff alike with Rodrick. Rodrick is bossy and Claudia is,too.They both get an allowance for doing chores.They both keep secrets. Claudia has stuff different with Rodrick. Claudia ran away. Claudia like expensive food and clothes. She likes being clean and neat. She has a smaller 2 little brothers and 1 bigger brother. Rodrick has stuff different with Claudia. Rodrick did not ran away. He is grungy, likes heavy metal, and can be pretty gross. He has 2 little brothers

 The setting is diffrent from Weslandia than From The Mixed-Up Files of Mrs.Basil E. Frankweiler. The setting of Weslandia is in Wesley's backyard.  It can be wet or dry.Wesley made Weslandia .  Wesley knows a lot about Weslandia.  It's out side and can be muddy or dirty.
   The setting of The Mixed-Up Files is a big fancy "museum"! Claudia and Jamie know everything about the museum.  They are inside.  It's cleaner only a little muddy from the shoes.  The museum was already made.
   But they also have a few things incommon.  They have a place to escape the outside world.  They have a place to enjoy .  They have a place to have fun.  Those are similarities and differences in settings of the two stories.

 We have been reading the book The Mixed up Files of Mrs. Basil e. Frankweiler and Weslandia. The main character in Weslandia is Wesley and in the Mixed up Files the main character is Claudia. Wesley is different from Claudia because he created his own language and he created  a place called Weslandia. Claudia is different from Wesley because shes very bossy and she  has a brother. She is also different from from Wesley she wants to spend alot of money  all of the time. They are alike because they both are smart and they both want to have an adventure.

My class and I  read a book called From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs.Basil E> Frankweiler . I also read Sweet Music in Harlem. I compared CJ and Claudia. This is what they have in common. They both play instruments. They both had problems, and they both fixed their problems. This is what is different about them. Claudia likes to learn, lives with family ,and has siblings . CJ likes to sing , lives with his uncle , and doesn't have siblings.

Claudia likes to correct people. Here is one thing about Rodrick, he does not care if people make mistakes .Claudia is nice and Rodrick is mean. Rodrick likes to torture people. The girl from Summer Wolves, named Dena, is different from Claudia from From The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler because Dena is rude. She has a sister, and Claudia is nice to her brother and wants to run away. They are the same because they are both bossy and irresponsible.

This is my comparisin blog between Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever and From The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil .E. Frankweiler. I`m comparing Claudia from  From The Mixed Up Files Of Mrs . Basil E. Frankweiler and Greg from Diary Of a Wimpy Kid:Cabin Fever. Greg has two brothers, Rodrick and Manny. Claudia has three brothers. Claudia was being treated unfair, so she decided that she and her younger brother Jamie were going to run away. But on the other hand Greg went with the flow. Greg and Claudia both think life is disparitous (unfair). Claudia and her brother ran away to New York City to a museum to stay, but Greg never has left the state he lives in. They both have odd and weird brothers. Claudia`s parents were worried sick. Greg`s mom is interested in activites that Greg doesn`t like. Both of their moms worry a lot between the children. Claudia was gone for a week. Greg`s storys come from a Diary/Journal, as he calls it, but his mom thinks differently. They tell some of the secrets that people most trust them with. Claudia is clean, and Greg is dirty, as far as the room goes.

I've been reading Maniac Magee and From The Mixed Up Files Of  Mrs.Basil E. Frankwieler .   I'm  comparing  Maniac / Jeffrey  to  Jamie. Jamie is from  The Mixed Up Files Of  Mrs.Basil E. Frankwieler. Jeffrey/Maniac is from  Maniac Magee. First I am going to say their differences. Maniac lived with his aunt and uncle. Jamie lived with his mom and dad. Maniac had no brothers and sisters, but Jamie has two brothers and one sister. Maniac wasn't happy with his life at all so he ran away, but Jamie ran away because he thougt that it would be fun. Jamie soon went back to his family, but Maniac never did go back to his family. Now I will say some things that they have in common. The first thing is that Maniac and Jamie wantes to be free, so they decided to run away from their families. Last thing is that Maniac and Jamie both really enjoyed learning.
