The main charcters in this story are Claudia and Jamie. Claudia also has 3 brothers,and they never help her with all the work. In Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Greg liked to play video games and had 2 brothers. Greg never ran away,but he told Manny he would be back. In both stories they have brothers.
