I've been reading Maniac Magee and From The Mixed Up Files Of  Mrs.Basil E. Frankwieler .   I'm  comparing  Maniac / Jeffrey  to  Jamie. Jamie is from  The Mixed Up Files Of  Mrs.Basil E. Frankwieler. Jeffrey/Maniac is from  Maniac Magee. First I am going to say their differences. Maniac lived with his aunt and uncle. Jamie lived with his mom and dad. Maniac had no brothers and sisters, but Jamie has two brothers and one sister. Maniac wasn't happy with his life at all so he ran away, but Jamie ran away because he thougt that it would be fun. Jamie soon went back to his family, but Maniac never did go back to his family. Now I will say some things that they have in common. The first thing is that Maniac and Jamie wantes to be free, so they decided to run away from their families. Last thing is that Maniac and Jamie both really enjoyed learning.
